Annual operating characteristics of integrated soil thermal storage and ground-coupled heat pump system

Taking a new-built office building in Shanghai as example, presents the integrated operating mode, simulates and calculates the whole year operating characteristics. The results show that the new mode can decrease the air conditioning power consumption in the daytime, while eliminating the annual soil temperature increase as a result of unbalanced heating and cooling loads.
